Fantastic little town. Very quiet in late September despite 28C temperatures. Probably very active in the summer months.

We set off from Tuscarora Bay NY bound for Alexandria NY. Beautiflly warm night! Gentle breezes and calm sailing expected for the next couple of days.
Looks like we are trying again for the cast-off date. September 20th….. or there about. So much work….. We have packed our 3000 sq ft house into a 300 sq foot boat in exchange for a much larger back yard! The Life Raft, EPIRB and AIS Recovery systems have all been installed. (all items we do not plan to use but are necessary for a well found boat). Many of the items we have brought on board may be unneeded…
It has been a long arduous task to package up our land based life. Many many long days. We are almost there. Tentative sail date is September 10th.
… There was a boat and an adventurous family… Final preparations are being made to both the boat and family. As we prepare, bear with us as we get set to cast off the lines for a big adventure.
